Five Warriors Set Off on Healing Ride 2026
Five Warriors are riding 50 miles a day from Confluence, PA to Harpers Ferry, WV — and you can dedicate a day's miles to a veteran you choose.
This week, five Pittsburgh Warriors traded the ice for the open road as they set off on the Healing Ride 2026 — riding 50 miles a day from Confluence, PA to Harpers Ferry, WV, by disabled veterans, for disabled veterans.
For a club built on the belief that hockey is healing, the Healing Ride is a natural extension of who we are: showing up for one another, carrying each other's stories, and turning miles into something bigger than ourselves. Each day of the ride, our Warriors dedicate their miles to veterans nominated by our community — making sure that service and sacrifice are remembered with every turn of the pedals.
Riding for the Warriors this year: Sam, Adam, Josh, Tom, and Kale. Ride strong, ride safe, and carry those names with pride.
Here is how you can be part of it. Donate $50 and we will dedicate that day's miles to a veteran you choose — and announce them by name in our morning video from the trail. The more names we receive, the more powerful that roll call becomes. Visit pghwarriorhockey.org/healing-ride to honor your veteran and follow along with daily updates from the trail.
Your support funds the ice time, equipment, and tournament travel that keeps our program running for over 150 service-disabled veterans in the Pittsburgh area. No hockey experience required. No cost to veterans. Just healing, purpose, and brotherhood — one mile at a time.
