2018Pittsburgh Warriors Hockey is founded
Pittsburgh Warriors Hockey was formed as a Pennsylvania nonprofit on September 18, 2018 — the date the IRS recognized as the organization's date of formation. The IRS granted 501(c)(3) public-charity status by determination letter dated October 16, 2018 (EIN 83-1946643).

2018Warrior Classic — Las Vegas
Pittsburgh represented at the 2018 Warrior Classic in Las Vegas, finishing Division B Runner-Up.
2019Warrior Classic & the Police Charity Game
The Warriors competed at the 2019 Warrior Classic and skated in the annual police charity game.
2020Baierl Toyota Summer & Johnstown Veterans Day
Represented Pittsburgh at the Baierl Toyota Summer tournament (Division 4) and the Johnstown Veterans Day tournament.
2022USA Hockey Disabled Festival — Gold Tier III Champions
Pittsburgh brought home hardware at the 2022 Disabled Festival: the Gold team won the Tier III Championship banner and the Black team earned the Tier VI Runner-up banner, while White fought hard to the end against daunting odds. A standout weekend for the whole organization.
2022JP Kelly steps down as President
On April 19, 2022, JP Kelly — "El Pres" — submitted his resignation from the board and returned to player status after leading the Warriors through their championship run. In his farewell he reminded the team that every voice matters and that this is about healing through hockey.
2022New leadership: Dave Jackel elected President
On May 6, 2022, following JP Kelly's resignation, Chairman Sam Johnson led the executive board's vote to name Dave Jackel the next President, with Dwayne Hinkle as Vice President and Aidan Kitching stepping in as General Manager.
2022Partnership with the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation deepens
President Dave Jackel and Chairman Sam Johnson met with the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation to expand a long-standing relationship — centered on fundraising and growth as the Warriors continue representing the Penguins while serving disabled veterans.
2023Disabled Festival, Hendrickson & Johnstown
A full season on the road: the USA Hockey Disabled Festival (Valiant), the Hendrickson Foundation Tournament, and the Johnstown tournament.
2024Warrior Nationals — Gold Division Runner-Up
Pittsburgh finished Gold Division Runner-Up at Warrior Nationals, and competed at the Hendrickson Foundation Tournament.
2025Warrior Nationals
The Warriors returned to Warrior Nationals to represent Pittsburgh.
